Agency Announces Digital Media Client Wins; Adds Michael Polley as CFO and Promotes Ben Billingsley to Managing Director
New York, NY – July 29, 2008 - Horn Group Inc. today announced the expansion of its digital media practice with the addition of six new clients in New York. Driving this practice has been Ben Billingsley who has been promoted to Managing Director overseeing all East Coast PR business. In addition, Michael Polley joined as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) also based in New York.
Further formalizing the digital media practice, each of the new engagements leverages Horn Group’s integrated communications experience and includes a mix of public relations and interactive services like creative branding and web design. New digital media clients include:
- Pontiflex, the creators of the first lead generation marketplace
- adap.tv, the first open and universal video ad platform
- WebCollage, a content exchange services for manufacturers and their retail partners
- Move Networks, technology for high-definition online television
- Buddy Media, a provider of social media advertising applications and campaigns
- Brand.net, the first online advertising network focused exclusively on Brand advertising
Other clients in the practice include Adify, the premier technology and media company focused on vertical online advertising (acquired last month by Cox Enterprises) and Clickable, the first web service to make creating and managing online advertising simple and effective. Horn Group also represented Right Media, an online exchange for advertisers and publishers, through its acquisition by Yahoo!.
Instrumental in building out Horn Group’s expertise, successes and recent wins in the space was Ben Billingsley who has been promoted to Managing Director of the firm’s East Coast PR practice, reporting to Sabrina Horn, CEO. He has 12 years of experience in agency public relations and integrated marketing communications. Prior to joining Horn Group in 2006, Billingsley worked at Cooper Katz, also in New York.
Michael Polley joins Horn Group as the new CFO, reporting to Sabrina Horn. Previously, Michael was CFO at MRM Worldwide in San Francisco, a digital advertising agency serving technology and consumer markets. Before that he spent time as a consultant and CFO at Nortel Networks, Standard New York, American Document Management Group, and he started his career in public accounting at Deloitte Touche.
